Crossing from HK to Shenzhen on a 5 Day VOA

Can a UK citizen enter Shenzhen on a 5-day VOA from Hong Kong? Which entry point would be the best?

The VOA is now only for emergencies. They do not issue it for the purpose of tourism. Actually, every entry point is fine and just choose the one bringing you most convenience.
