About:China Transit Visa

2 stops in China with a total 25 hour layover

U.S.A citizen traveling from Bangkok to Shantou with a 3:55 layover and I must recheck my bag and then on to Jinan with a 20:55 layover and I do not need to recheck my bag or leave the transit area. Do I need a visa for any of this?

Jon, I’m afraid you need to apply for a transit G type for that.
