About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Do I need a visa?!

My flight stops in Shanghai for 2 hours and 40 minutes. After that I have a layover in Kunming for 23 hours and 30 minutes.
Does the Shanghai stop count toward my 24 hour transit G type layover time?
Since this is 2 cities on the 72 hour free transit list, and I not eligible?

Your trip is unable to enjoy either the 24-hour free transit or the 72-hour free transit.

Since you transit in two Chinese cities, you are unable to enjoy the 72-hour free transit. Since the transfering time is over 24 hours, you are unable to enjoy the 24-hour free transit.
