About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Layover on flight out of China

Can we take advantage of this visa if our flight out of China stops at another Chinese city for a short 2 hour layover before heading to the third world?

Sorry, you can't. According to the rule, you can't stop by any other Chinese cities when you arrive and leave.
