I'm transfering in terminal 3, PEK from American Airlines to Cathay Pacific What about my case?

I am flying from Dallas/Fort Worth to Beijing with a 3 hour stop over but will be in the Visa Free 24 hour secure area while waiting. I will then be flying Cathay Pacific to Perth Western Australia. How do I t/f case. A.A cannot book all the way through as am flying two different airlines and cannot leave the zone.
