Transit procedure with children at Beijing airport?

Hi. We are flying from Stokholm and then to Bangkok with Air China, with children. What is the transit procedure for us and do we have to collect and re-chekin luggage? We arrive at 9.40am and departure 13.40pm. All flights are with CA. When we are goding home we arrive to BJ 11.30am, departure 13.50pm. Is it enough time for the transit or do we have to hurry? Somthing special to consider during a transit with children? Do the airport provide special security/fast trak for families? Thank you in advance!

If you buy connecting ticket, the luggage will be sent to Bangkok all the way. If not, you need to claim the luggage at BJ and recheck. In that case, the procedures will be arrival- claim luggage- transfer procedures-transit inspection-security check- cultoms check- boarding. Transfer time should be enough on your way back. But do not linger around to waste time. Take care fo your kids while transfering, the airport is big. As all your flight are from Air China, you may contact the company to see if they can help you with the transfer. As I know, there are VIP passages which save time.
