About:China Private Visit Visa

During the L type period can I apply s2 type for my family without leaving china

kumar (india),

From dongying district ,Shandong province,

Currently working at china under work permit & hold residential permit.

Currently my family(my wife & daughter) with me under visit visa(L)

Actually I have plan to apply s2 type for my family

I read that it's impossible to change visa types without leaving mainland China. It means that your wife and daughter need to apply for the S2 out of PRC. However, you may visit local entry and exit management bureau to ask if this can be done. If they say no, then they'd better go back to India to apply for S2.
