About:Slender West Lake

Applying for Tourist visa. I am in Shenzhen on a Z type for a year.

If I quit and my Z type is cancelled by my company, can I apply for a L type without leaving the country?

To my understanding, your company can revoke your employment certificate. Your employer can't cancel your resident permit. However, your company can inform the related authority of your situation. You can go to the entry and exit management bureau to apply for the L type.
