Bus from Shenzhen to HK - crossing the border

I'm travelling with 2 small children from Bao'an airport to Hong Kong Central. I'm planning to take the direct bus but I'm a bit worried if crossing the border is too difficult. Does the 2 hour travel time include border formalities? Do you need to walk a long way with your luggage when crossing the border? Bus seems to be more convenient than the MTR (avoiding many changes).

The bus running time and formalities are included in the two hours. And as you know, it is convenient than metro indeed and the customs/immigration is done at SZ Bay, which won't take much time!

How about the luggage, is it possible to use a trolley or do you need to carry everything by hand through the customs? That's a challenge that worries me travelling with 2 kids and only 2 hands...

Yes, trolleys are available at SZ Bay for your convenience. If there is really difficulty as you travel with two small kids, ask the staff for help!
