About:Macau Travel

We will spend our vacation in Macau on the third week of April. Can we visit Great wall of China?

Me and my family will spend our vacation in Macau. We want to see the Great Wall of China, can we visit this place? How many hour is the travel time from Macau to this place? How much it will cost me for the fare? Thank you and best regards. Mr. Emmanuel Cariaga

Surely you can. There are many sections of Great Wall in China and the most popular ones are near Beijing - Badaling and Mutianyu sections. From Macao, you are advised to go to Gongbei border to cross the immigration to Zhuhai Gongbei and take the light rail nearby to Guangzhou South, where there are bullet trains to Beijing for the Great Wall. The train duration for all the trips is 10h or longer. (There is direct plane from Macao to Beijing and it takes around 2.5h, but the air ticket is expensive. As well as that, by train you can enjoy the scenery on the journey!)

The light rain from Zhuhai to Guangzhou costs CNY70 for a second class seat and CNY90 for a first class seat. From Guangzhou to Beijing, the train ticket costs CNY862 for a second class seat and CNY1,380 for a first class seat!
