btw, is there a bus where we can take to SZ & how much it's cost? How long is the journey? & can you recommend a budget hotel / hostel which is centralize & convenient for back-packers in SZ? We are coming in a group of 10pax & are looking at the cheapest itinerary.

After SZ, we will be heading to Zhuhai, what's the best way to reach there?

Ms.Lim,
You may reach Portas do Cerco and pass the border to Gongbei, Zhuha. Then turn right and walk around 150 meters to Gongbei Bus Station to take bus to Shenzhen. It takes around 2 to 2.5 hours to Luohu area (close to Luohu Railway Station). The ticket fare is CNY90 or 95.

I am sorry that I am not familiar with accommodation in Shenzhen. From Shenzhen to Zhuhai, you may take bus at Luohu Bus Station. It costs around CNY90/95 and takes around 2 hours. Or you can go to Shekou Ferry Terminal to take ferry to Jiuzhou Ferry Terminal in Zhuhai. The ferry is faster. It takes around 1 hour and but the ticket price is the same as bus.
