About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Train Luang Prabang - Xishuangbanna - Kunming - Hong Kong

Do below train routes eligible for Indonesia passport holder to get 240 hour TWOV?

Train from Luang Prabang (Laos) to Xishuangbanna, then Xishuangbanna to Kunming, then direct train from Kunming to Hong Kong.

Yes, your entry by using Mohan railway border crossing (Laos - China railway line) and exit to Hong Kong West Kowloon station is definitely eligible for 240 hour visa free transit and you do not need any kind of visa. It is important to understand that you will have to buy your Kunming to Hong Kong exit ticket before you board Luang Prabang to Xishuangbanna train. One more detail, I advise you to check the flights between Kunming to Hong Kong because they can be , from time to time, even cheaper or of the same price as trains.
