Visa Eligibility and Shenzhen Visa on Arrival for Turkish Passport Holders

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am a Turkish passport holder, but I was born in Switzerland and currently reside here with a valid Swiss residence permit.

I have read that many Turkish nationals have recently been denied the Shenzhen Visa on Arrival, and I would like to clarify my eligibility in this regard.
In the past, I visited China several times and was able to obtain tourist visas smoothly. Initially, I even received a tourist visa through Hong Kong-based travel agencies.

As a Turkish citizen residing in Switzerland, am I eligible for the Shenzhen Visa on Arrival?

Do Hong Kong-based travel agencies still provide Chinese visa services for tourists?

Given my travel history to China, am I eligible to apply for a regular tourist visa again via the CVASC in Switzerland?

I would appreciate your clarification on these points so that I can plan my upcoming trip accordingly.

Thank you very much in advance for your support.

You can try to apply for Shenzhen VOA. Because you have several old China visas, the success rate should be high.

Now foreigners can apply for a China tourist visa at HK visa service center, pretty convenient with urgent service. I think you may be offered a tourist visa with multiple entries and longer validity based on your travel history in China.

You can also apply for a China visa in Switzerland, by presenting your legal resident permit in that country. .
