About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit
Eligibility for Vietnamese to flight from Vietnam to Shanghai then cruise to Okinawa
Hi,
I am aware that Vietnam was added to 240 hour visa free transit list in 08/2026. Just want to make sure prior to booking cruise.
We are group of Vietnamese citizen, flying from Vietnam to Shanghai airport, stay for 2 days in Shanghai, then take cruise at Shanghai cruise terminal to Okinawa, Japan for 5 days. We will be back to Shanghai cruise terminal then take the flight back to Vietnam.
That would be twice entry to China (first from Vietnam and second is from Japan). Are we eligible for that twice 240h visa free transit?
