About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

240 Hr Eligibility

We're planning on flying into HK from the US, entering Guangzhou by train, Shenzhen by train, then back to HK and then back out US. Will this trip be eligible for the 240 visa-free transit?

Sorry, it's not eligible as you travel from HK and then return HK, which is not an international transit route, but a round trip to HK.

You can fly from SZ to US without a layover in HK to fit in the 240h transit. Or go from Shenzhen to Macau, then onward to HK; HK - Chinese Mainland - Macau is an eligible route.
