About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

240hr visa free eligibility

I like to check two itineraries for 240hr visa free eligibility:
1: JFK to HK to zhongshan port, then return from Chongqing, connection on Doha, to JFK
2: JFK to HK to zhongshan port, then return from Shanghai to US.

Will both itineraries meet the requirements?

Yes, both itineraries are eligible for 240 hour visa free transit without any doubt. You can take a ferry from both Hong Kong downtown and/or Hong Kong airport skypier to Zhongshan or you can exit from Hong Kong toward Zhongshan by train from Hong Kong West Kowloon station. Now, it will be up to you to decide which one of the presented itineraries you prefer. Have a nice visit to China.
