About:China Visa-free Policy

Free visa

Flying from US to Japan for 2 weeks, then to China for a week or so then flight back to Japan for 1 or 2 days then US do I qualify for free transit visa?

Lucia, your route Japan – China – Japan is not qualified for the 240h visa free transit because it’s a round trip rather than a journey with transit. Maybe you can add HK into your schedule: Japan – Mainland China – HK – Japan will work for this policy.
