About:Visa on Arrival

Travel in Guangzhou region

According to others, travel is permitted in the Guangzhou region if I arrive in the Shenzhen port. So I can travel to Dongguan, yes?

I’m afraid you cannot travel to Dongguan with a Shenzhen 5-day visa, Bob. You are only allowed to travel within this city. Besides, the 5-day visa is only available on your arrival at Luohu (Lo Wu) Port, Huanggang Port, Shekou Port and Fuyong Port; Shenzhen Port doesn’t accept 5-day visa application.

Actually, Fuyong is not an eligible place to obtain a Shenzhen VOA. The first three mentioned are.
