About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Are Macau and Hong Kong different regions

Can a UK citizen fly from London to Hong Kong, take coach to Macau, clear immigration control in Macau, then take ferry from Macau to Shekou Port/Shenzhen, enter 240-hours visa free to stay in Guangdong province 7 days, and then from Dongguan take MTR train to West Kowloon Station Port and clear immigration in Hong Kong, and then fly back from HKG to London?

Yes, of course. This is definitely doable and eligible for 240 hour visa free transit. You should just take care to buy your train (exit) ticket to Hong Kong West Kowloon station before your departure toward mainland China. Have a nice visit to China.
