About:How to Travel from Hong Kong Airport to Shenzhen

144h transit visa, South Korea- HK to Shenzhen and back to South Korea?

Hi!
Do I understand correctly that it is possible to get the 144hour transit visa if I fly from South Korea to Hong Kong, travel to Shenzhen and then fly back to South Korea from Shenzhen? In other words, can I make a trip of 4 days from South Korea to Shenzhen and back to South Korea on the 144 hour transit visa, if I fly from South Korea to Hong Kong first?
I have Swedish nationality and citizenship, and a H1 visa for South Korea.

If that is correct, do I apply for the 144 hour visa at Hong Kong airport, at the border to Shenzhen or at a port in Shenzhen? Or somewhere else?

To use the 144 for the route you should fly from HK to Shenzhen, because the entry permit can only be obtained at the airport, which is not the best as the two are very close.

I suggest you fly from South Korea to Shenzhen directly, then take a ferry to HK then to South Korea to enjoy the 144 in Shenzhen, much more economic. Also, when landing in Shenzhen, you should have the printed ferry ticket in hand and leave right by the ferry.

Oh okay. So I don't need to go to HK first to get the 144h entry visa to Shenzhen? I just need to have HK as 1 stop in my travel route?

So for example I could go:
Have ferry ticket already printed for the travel back to HK.
Fly from South Korea > Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport.
Apply for 144 hour visa there.
Once visa is recieved, Travel Shenzhen for 4-5 days then leave by ferry from one of these ports (Shatoujiao, Wenjindu, Huanggang, Luohu or Shenzhen Bay Port in Shenzhen) to HK.
Fly from HK > back to South Korea.

Did understand correctly then? Is this an accepted route of travel for the 144 hour visa?
