About:Chinese Embassy in Nigeria

Termination of contract

A friend's employer in China informed her on Tuesday 20th February 2024 that they want to terminate her contract because her students were not improving as a teacher. Can this be done without warning? and they went ahead to book her flight (27th February) back to her country.

Thanks for your reply. She's already on her way back to Nigeria. We called the embassy nobody picked, tried sending mail but keep getting the failure message reply. Delivery incomplete
There was a temporary problem delivering your message to shanghai@ngconsulate.org. Gmail will retry for 44 more hours. You'll be notified if the delivery fails permanently. Is such a shame!
