Travel near Xiamen

Since I have 7 days in Xiamen, I would like to venture to nearby provinces, by train is best. Is there any scenic train ride? Thanks

Well, there are so many destinations, and I'm not sure which one is you want. But generally the scenery is not so great in winter.

Hi Andrew, I will take bullet trains from Xiamen to Fuzhou to Hefei. Which stops should I do during Dec ? I think Yellow Mountain will be snowy cold. Thinking of stopover Fuzhou. Is it better to go Hakka houses from Xiamen ? Thanks

Xiamen is much closer to the Hakka houses. It is true the Yellow Mountain will be very cold but it is also really beautiful in winter.
