About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Singapore to Japan with 2hrs layover in Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport (XMN)

Hi,
Im a PHL passport holder and my flight is from SINGAPORE to Japan ( i have the japan visa) but my flight has 2h 15m layover in Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport (XMN) . Do i need any type of visa for that layover? thanks

No, you do not need any kind of visa because your layover in Xiamen will be covered by 24 hour visa free transit. In reality, your situation is very simple and straightforward. Simply speaking, you will be just in a transit via Xiamen airport.

You really do not have to perform any formality nor will you fill out any forms. You will just walk from one (arrival) until another (departure) gate and you will not be a subject of immigration or customs inspection. Basically you will just encounter a security check (metal detector and the stuff) between the two gates. Also your luggage will be tagged in Singapore all the way to Japan. Have a pleasant transit in Xiamen.
