About:Visa on Arrival

Entering Shenzhen from HK

We have a Japanese and British passport respectively, we would like to enter Shenzhen from HK.

Can we get VOA? Thanks

Yes, both of you can get 5 days Shenzhen VOA at designated border crossings. However, I suggest you as I do it all the time, to take a morning (CKS - Chu Kong Passenger Transport) ferry from Hong Kong to Shekou port in Shenzhen to avoid crowds are visa offices on overland border crossings. You should be aware of Shekou visa office opening hours: 9:00 - 13:00 & 14:30 - 16:30.

One detail more, the price of VOA for a Japanese citizens is 168 and for UK one 314 CNY, payed in cashless way.
