About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

UK citizen entering on land from Vietnam

Hi, I want to enter China by foot at the land border with Vietnam / Hekou North, stay in Yunnan and Chengdu for 5/6 days and fly to Turkey from Chengdu airport. Do I qualify for the free visa?

Sorry, no. Hekou Port is not the eligible port for the 240h visa free transit. The eilgible ports in Yunnan for the free transit are: Kunming Changshui International Airport, Lijiang Sanyi International Airport, Mohan Railway Port.
