Humanitarian visa

I ended my work contract and I’m on a humanitarian visa, which will expire in a few weeks. I’m still looking for another job in China and I want to know if I can renew my humanitarian visa for another 30 days. I’ve lived here 9 years I may have a new job before my visa runs out, but I am still looking.

If you need to continue your stay for humanitarian reasons, you shall submit the residence certificates and relevant supporting materials, and acquire a stay period of no more than 30 days. However, it is still suggested to change a visa as the renewal may also be rejected if your humanitarian reason is not so convincing.
