Z visa application for Indian in Taiwan

I’m Indian and I’ve been in Taiwan for many years. I’ve now found a job in China and I’m just waiting for the PU invitation letter. Could I apply for a visa in HK or Macau? I don’t want to travel to India due to the pandemic.

Yes, you can have a try, but I'm afraid that HK and Macau still close border to foreigners.

Foreigners staying in Taiwan are able to enter HK with 14 day quarantine upon arrival.
