US Permanent Resident Holding Chinese Passport Traveling to Tawau, Sabah

Hello,

I am a US permanent resident holding Chinese passport and planning to go to Sipadan on March 16th. Heard about the coronavirus restrictions from Sabah State. I actually haven't been back in China for 1.5 year and this upcoming trip is traveling directly from New York City, USA to KUL (not stopping or passing by China). And then from KUL to Tawau. Could you please clarify if I am able to enter Tawau? I am able to provide any needed documents to prove where I have been in the past year as well as where I am traveling from (United States). Thank you in advance.

Yes, I think you can because there are entry and exit stamps on your passport to show that you haven't visited China during the past 1.5 years.
