About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

China and Taiwan

I plan to go to China and Taiwan. I want to buy a round-trip ticket from L.A. What I want to do is fly L.A. - Shanghai (stay the 72 hrs) then fly from Shanghai to Taiwan (stay a few days there) and fly back from Taiwan to Shanghai (stay 48 hrs max) and fly back to L.A. Does anyone know if I can do two entries in Shanghai using the visa exception?

You can use the twov as often as you want, there's no limit.

btw. the 72h twov doesn't exist in Shanghai anymore, just 24/144h twov.

In both ways, you're eligible for the 144h twov.
