Visa-free transit in Xiamen and Shanghai from cruise ship: HK->Xiamen->Shanghai->Taiwan?
Are we eligible for 2 visa-free 24h transits if our cruise ship stops 8 h at Xiamen, then sails to Shanghai and is there for 32 h, Weds. 8am to Thurs. 5pm, before leaving for Taiwan? We plan an 8 hour tour in Xiamen and a 10 hour tour in Shanghai, Weds., the first day there. The second day in Shanghai we would not leave the ship. Is the ship considered “mainland China?”
