Travel Restrictions on Student Exchange Program Visa (F)

I'm going to have a F type visa for a student exchange program for 15 days in Hunan province. I wish to travel to Guanzhou for 3 more days after finishing the exchange program. Does F type visa have any travel restrictions? Can I visit a different province after the program ends and will there be any problem?

You can visit Guangzhou after the exchange program ends, under the condition that your allowed stay length is able to cover the stay in both Hunan and Guangzhou.
