About:Baggage Allowance and Transportation

Any luggage size restrictions on the G, D and C trains?

A number of us will be going to Hong Kong and China in March this year, and will be planning to take the GTrain to Guangzhou, China from Hong Kong. Also, while we are in the Great Bay area, we will be using the high speed trains as well. Later, we will make another trip to northern China around the Xian area, also plan to take high speed trains to some nearby cities.
Our questions: Can we carry our medium size luggage (Height 67 cm, Width 45 cm, Depth 25 cm) on the G, D and C trains? Are there any size restrictions for luggage for those trains?
Please clarify. Thank you!

Yes, you can. The luggage allowance on G, D and C trains is the same : ≤130cm (51 inches) by length+width+height per luggage but you can take bigger ones. If the luggage shelve above the seats are not big enough to hold your luggage, put them in the luggage closet between two carriages.
