About:China Visa Application in USA

USA and Peruvian Passport going to Shanghai and Hong Honk

Wife and I are traveling to Shanghai for 6 days and then to Hong Honk for another 6 days. Wife holds a USA passport and myself a Peruvian passport w/ USA green card. Which type of visa do we need? and whats the process? Thank you

Well, both of you don't need visa for Hong Kong. As for the trip in Shanghai, if you fly from a country to Shanghai and then fly onward to HK, your wife doesn't need the visa because she is eligible for 144-h visa-free transit. You need to apply for a visa in advance.
