Xiamen visa

Hello,

I need your assistance in the following situation: in the first months of this year I have booked a two tickets from Bucharest (Romania) to Denpansar (Bali), with a transit time of 16 and 13 hours in Xiamen Airport. Given the big number of transit hours, me (Romanian Nationality) and my friend (Macedonian nationality) would like to visit the city and exit the airport area. Is that possible with a free visa? If not, how much is the cost of the visa and how I could obtain it? Could you please guide me through the process?

you both are eligible for the 24-hour visa-free transit. The fee is free. You will need your passport, ticket to a third country with confirmed seat and date, a fully completed Arrival/Departure Card when apply for it.

There are normally 5 steps:
1. Inform the carrier when boarding
2. Fill an Arrival/Departure Card
3. Apply for the 24-hour visa-free stay permit upon arrival
4. Go through the customs
5. Leave the airport
