Beijing Metro Ticket Fare when using the Transportation Smart Card

The ticket price is charged according to the distance in the BJ Metro. How it is calculate by using the Smart Card? It is charged by input/output station? Or in other way? Thanks for info.

The subway (excluding airport line) is charged according to the distance: within 6 km (including) CNY3; 6 km to 12 km (inclusive) CNY4; CNY5 for 12 to 22 kilometers (inclusive); CNY6 for 22km to 32km (inclusive); For the part above 32 kilometers, each additional CNY1 can travel 20 kilometers, and the highest ticket price is not capped.

Beijing metro will offer 20% discount after you spend more than CNY100 every month on metro.
After CNY150, 50% discount will be given from the next ride. After expenditure accumulates to CNY400, you can no longer enjoy discount preferential treatment. The accumulative record of rail transit expenditure of one-card card is reset at the end of each month, and it is accumulated again in the following months.
