72 hour visa for Xiamen

I'm from Serbia with a regular passport I would need to travel from Hong Kong to Xiamen and then fly out to Macao. Is this OK to get a transit visa at the airport in Xiamen.
Thank you

You don't need a transit visa as you're fine for the twov.

Just to add that you will have to fly from Hong Kong to Xiamen in order to be allowed 144 hours visa free transit. You cannot use the high speed train.

Serbians are visa-exempted for 30 days so you can enter China by land or rail.
