About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Taiwan-Shanghai-Taiwan

Hello,
Is it possible that I can go Taiwan-Shnaghai-Taiwan?
I am currently studying in Taiwan and just want to visit a friend in Shanghai. (Swiss Passport Holder)

You would need a visa for China. You can only travel without visa if you're in transit to a third country/region. Taiwan-Shanghai-Hong Kong-Taiwan would work, for example.
