About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Uk - Bejing - Taiwan

hello, I would like to know if I would be able to visit the city Bejing as there is a 8 hour stopover on my way to Taiwan?

Yes in principle, but because your layover in Beijing is rather short, everything depends upon decision of border official. In reality, you should definitely ask for this convenience and see whether you will be allowed entry permit or not.
