About:Chinese Paper-cut Museum

144 Hour Visa: Beijing-Xiamen

If I arrive in Beijing and apply for the 144 hour twov then fly to Malaysia via Beijing-Xiamen, do I qualify for the visa since both Beijing and Xiamen are exempted cities? I'm confused because the policy also says, "During the period, you cannot stop over in any other mainland Chinese cities"

A visa waiver is not a visa so it has to be either Beijing or Xiamen, not both (not even stopovers). In your case you are traveling/transiting in both Mainland Chinese cities and hence no longer meet the requirement for the visa-waiver.
