About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Holidays in China and Taiwan

I planing to fly via Shanghai to Taiwan. I have tickets form Poland via Munich to Shanghai and fly back to Poland via Frankfurt. In middle of this fly we planing to go to Taiwan for 7 days, means ... we wanted to stay in Shanghai 6 days , than to Taiwan for 7 days and go back via Shanghai 1 day for sleep and to Poland. We will have two saparate tickets POLAND- SHANGHAI- POLAND and SHANGHAI- TAIPEI- SHANGHAI... can we have 144h free transit entry?

You might need to apply for visa for Shanghai before your trip.

Why? In real is a transfer for 6 days in Shanghai, before flying to Taiwan. I believe the most important is to present a valid plane ticket to Taiwan, but not a fly beck one to Poland. There is any written information that have to be one ticket?

Munich - Shanghai - Taiwan is fine for the 144h twov.
Taiwan - Shanghai - Frankfurt is fine for the 24h twov.

You don't need a visa as long as you don't have another stop in China on your dlights to/from Shanghai.
