Shanghai from UK. Hi. I am travelling from the UK to Shangai (stopover is in Switzerland)

I will be in Shanghai for 3 nights (arrive Sunday 7am & leave Wednesday 8am), then I move onto Singapore. Will I need to apply for a visa or will I be covered by the 72/144 hours rule.
