About:Beijing Travel

I have a flight with Air Canada that comes into Beijing Capital Airport at 4:00 pm

And then have to transfer over to Thai Airways 1 hr 05 min later (it leaves at 5:05 pm). Is this possible? What would happen if we didn't make our flight? Also, do we have to collect our bags or do they automatically get taken to the next flight?
Thank you!

Generally speaking, the transfer time is a little bit tight. If you purchase the interline tickets, then you don't need to worry about it. If not, you are suggested to change the flight schedule.
If the two airlines have luggage check through service, the luggage will be delivered to the destination.
