About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

3 Day Stay

Hi, I'm travelling from Australia to Beijing, staying 3 nights and then heading to Japan. Can we leave the airport to see the Great Wall and Forbidden City while we're there? Or do we have to apply for a tourist visa?

If you fly Australia-Beijing-Japan with no other stops then you don't need a visa. You can visit those tourist attractions.
