About:Shanghai 15-day Visa-free Policy for Cruise Tour Groups

I'm flying from USA to SH staying 3 days. Then cruising Royal Caribbean to Japan for 8 days.

Docking back in SH flying home to USA the same day. Can I get 144 hour Visa? Will one Visa be good for my whole trip?
