About:Shanghai 15-day Visa-free Policy for Cruise Tour Groups

We are going on a cruise from Singapore to Shanghai

flying from the US to Singapore and flying out of SH to the US. We want to stay 3 extra days in SH before flying back to the US. We hold US passports. Are we eligible for the 144-hour visa free transit?
