About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

I’m flying from Jakarta to Amsterdam with a 5 hour transit in Shanghai do I need a VISA?

I’m flying with garuda to shanghai to connect with my KLM flight to Amsterdam. I just found out that I can’t check through my luggage. That means I hv to get my luggage in T2 and check in again in T1, right? Will I need a VISA for that? Since I’m going out of the airport?

No visa is needed, and you can apply for a 24h stay permit upon arriving to leave the airport.
