About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

From Jakarta to Shenzhen - From HK to Jakarta

My friends are holding Indonesia passport. Could they enjoy Visa- Free transit with the following routing ?

11 Oct Jakarta to Shenzhen CZ8056 0910/1525
16 Oct HK to Jakarta CX777 0910/1310

Yes, they enjoy 240h visa-free transit. But the onward ticket to Hong Kong is required, as early as when they board the flight to Shenzhen.
