travel to xiamen via cruise

Question

hello and many thanks for providing all this great info!  i will be traveling from Kagoshima, Japan to Xiamen, China then out to Chan May, Vietnam all via cruise-liner.  do you know if there is an immigration counter at the port in Xiamen?  We are docked there for 7 hours and this is the only stop in China we are making, so trying to save a bit of money, where possible.

Hi, you can apply for the 24h twov at the immigration counter upon arrival at Xiamen port. No visa will be needed. Nice trip.
