Travel to Xiamen via Cruise

hello and many thanks for providing all this great info! i will be traveling from Kagoshima, Japan to Xiamen, China then out to Chan May, Vietnam all via cruise-liner. do you know if there is an immigration counter at the port in Xiamen? We are docked there for 7 hours and this is the only stop in China we are making, so trying to save a bit of money, where possible.
