Restriction on visa application location?

Hi,

I'm Malaysian and I am currently in the UK. I am planning to go to Beijing from Kuala Lumpur in August. I will only be in Malaysia a week before my KL-Beijing flight. Is it possible for me to apply for my entry permit in the UK or would you advise another way? Wondering if my point of departure matters.

Thanks in advance

That's possible for you to apply for Chinese visa from the CVASC in UK. You can have a try.
