About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

24 hours free visa

I am US resident with thai passport. I will land on 4/10 around 5pm and depart to BKK on 4/11 around 2pm. I want to go to the city of Shanghai and stay at a hotel. Will i need visa, even though i am US Resident green card holder.

You cannot use free transit in mainland China, so you need to apply for a visa for that trip.
